The ten anagrams that I previously solved were all
"Hercule Poirot novels" - I added a comment to that effect on your other question.
The only problem with the above for an answer is that there is an additional "T".

Thanks for mentioning the Agatha Christie - that helped. So one of her main characters was Hercule Poirot, which can be found in the letters above.
After removing Hercule Poirot, you are left with NVSOETL, which can be re-arranged into "solvent". And while he is a detective who solves mysteries and crimes, solvent is something that dissolves. It could be related to one of his specific mysteries - it's been a while since I read them.
