So I want to get my tongue pierced but I have a couple of questions so if you could answer these for me please that'd be great! :)

How long SHOULD you not smoke/kiss/drink alcohol for after getting it pierced?

How much did it swell an for how long?

    Most people say a week- 2 weeks ..I waited 2 weeks just to be safe and not cause any infections. It was less painful than I thought, the worst part was the swelling for 3 days and getting used to eating with a bolt in your mouth lol.
