Why do Conservatives LIE about employees being forced to join a union or pay union dues?
By LAW, you CANNOT be forced to be a union member or even pay union dues.
You can opt out of either.

Well that's funny, since your own links says that people who don't join the corrupt unions can be forced to pay for "costs of collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance adjustment "
You = fail.

It's not a lie. In my last two jobs (union shops) I was forced to join the union and pay union dues. Of course, I did have another option...it's called DON'T WORK THERE.
Most union jobs require you to join the union or you can't work there.

True, but realistically that's not an option for many people.
I don't support unions personally, but I know many people who are forced to join unions because it's they only way they get work. For example, a freelance electrician who is not part of a union will not get the same amount of work as a union-electrician.

First question and answer on your link refutes what you say:
"Question: Can I be required to be a union member or pay dues to a union?
Answer: You may not be required to be a union member. But, if you do not work in a Right to Work state, you may be required to pay union fees. "
For all states that are not Right to Work states, you may be required to pay union fees to a union you do not belong to.
You should read your question before you post it so you don't look like a fool.

True, but what they don't tell you is if you decide not to join your pay will be docked and you won't join in on the raises and the benefits Union employees get.

Did you even read your own source?
QUOTE: "Answer: You may not be required to be a union member. But, if you do not work in a Right to Work state, you may be required to pay union fees."
In other words, if you do not work in a Right to Work state, you may have to pay union dues even if you choose not to be in the union.

Source for the "lie" would be nice.
